In 2020, Fufu & Tibs collaborated with Sasha Sarago and Ascension Magazine - Australia's first digital lifestyle platform representing Indigenous and ethnic women across fashion, health, beauty, careers, love, relationships and culture.

In the aftermath of George Floyd’s gravely unjust death and the explosive civil rights movement that ensued, Fufu & Tibs saw an opportunity to shed light on the oppression carried out here on this soil against Indigenous Australians. 

In our ‘How to Show Up’ video, created with the help of Sasha, we express four different ways African Australians can help uplift Indigenous communities. We did this through the promotion of available resources and stressing the importance of unity as well destimigatisation.
