In collaboration with unisex streetwear brand Honour, we hosted a ‘Sip & Shop’ experience in July of 2022 at Westfield Sydney. The event was branded as ‘Black Excellence IRL’ - a play on the name of the spotlight featured fortnightly on our Instagram. It was an opportunity for Bla(c)k owned brands and business to showcase themselves and sell their merchandise to people who were eager to support them, but rarely had the opportunity to browse their stock in a brick-and-mortar store. 

Honour’s put its passion about championing Black businesses into action by commissioning its own Westfield Sydney space for the event. The 100+ attendees were given gift bags that featured sponsored product from Shea Moisture and Betoota Bitter, complimentary cocktails, branded cupcakes and entry into draws to win Westfield gift cards. Black Excellence IRL was more than a night at the shops, it was a communal and cultural experience.
