    Fufu & Tibs was a recipient of the Blacktown
    City Council Creative Arts Fund. The grant celebrates the excellence and variety of the artistic community in and around Blacktown City.

    Te grant will go towards expanding the Straight off the pot series which is about archiving diasporic stories of African migrants journey in Australia.

  • Scalon Foundation: African Australian Creative Media Grants (2021)

    To amplify the voices of minority communities and support creative media initiatives, Scanlon Foundation created this pilot program in 2021. Out of 115 applications across three streams, Fufu & Tibs was selected and provided funding to elevate our creative projects.

  • Frankie Magazine: Good Stuff Awards (2020)

    Just a few months after the release of our first episode, we were nominated as finalists in the ‘writing + podcasts’ category of the 2020 Frankie Good Stuff Awards. We’re extremely proud of this achievement not only because it reaffirmed the effort we put into building Fufu & Tibs, but also because it helped amplify the African Australian experience to a broader audience.
